Sensitivity and specificity in Markov model

Hi, I'm doing a  CEA of  cancer screening test using Markov model. This screening method has sensitivity and specificity. How do I put these two parameters into the Markov model for analysis? Please help me, many thanks.

You can find information about using Bayes revision in the Help files for TreeAge Pro. These can allow you to set up the appropriate formula (using specificity and sensitivity) and then populate the tree structure with those details.

Either search in the Help for Bayes or use this link to take you to the appropriate place in the Help files: https://www.treeage.com/help/Content/99-Bayes-Revision/2-Bayes-Revision-Sens-Spec.htm

    Thank you for your reply.

If I have more than one abnormal states, and the initial prevelances are different, how can I apply Bayes in my model.

Thank you again for your help

I am afraid I do not understand the question - in terms of interpreting it into Bayes. Do you mean the test screens for various states?

If you have a more detailed question, you can email this to support@treeage.com and we may be able to assist further. Someone else also might be able to provide you feedback here too.
