TreeAge Pro 2021 Will Not Support Windows 32-bit

TreeAge Pro 2021 will not include installers for 32-bit Windows.

TreeAge Pro 2021 will be built on an updated system architecture that does not support 32-bit Windows. Therefore, you will need to run 64-bit Windows to use TreeAge Pro 2021. This has no impact on Mac software that already requires 64-bit.

Extended Support for TreeAge Pro 2020

While we normally only support the latest software, we will maintain support for TreeAge Pro 2020 (Windows) through the end of 2021 to give you another year to upgrade your systems.

Support will still require an active Annual License or a Standard License with active Maintenance.

To check if you are running 32-bit or 64-bit TreeAge Pro:

  1. Choose Help > About TreeAge Pro.
  2. Look for the "Version". You should see the software year followed by 32-bit or 64-bit.

To check if you are running 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 10:

  1. Start the System Information application.
  2. Look for the "System Type". You should see x64 or x32.

If you are running 64-bit Windows, you can install 64-bit TreeAge Pro at any time from www.treeage.com/install.

Compatibility with Excel

We recommend that you also run 64-bit Microsoft Office to support connections between TreeAge Pro and Excel. However, this connection is not critical for TreeAge Pro to run.
